Here are answers to what parents usually ask about personalising a book, uploading photos, printing and shipping.
Personalisation
What can I personalise in the book
Every book lets you add your child's first name, their pronoun, a special dedication and who the gift is from. For some stories, we may also adapt small details to better match your child’s age and context.
Can I create books for more than one child
At the moment each order is for one child and one main character. You can place separate orders if you would like books for siblings or cousins. In future we plan to offer stories with two main characters in the same book.
Which languages are available
Our first books are available in English. French editions are on our roadmap. If you would like to be notified when a new language becomes available, you can join the newsletter at checkout.
Photos and avatars
What kind of photo should I upload
Use a clear, forward facing photo in good light where we can see your child's full face. Everyday photos taken on your phone are perfect. Avoid very dark images, heavy filters or side profiles, as they make it harder to capture your child accurately.
Will the character look exactly like my child
The character is an illustrated version of your child, not a photo copy. We use the photo you upload as a reference for features such as hair, skin tone and general expression, while keeping a soft, storybook style.
Can I change the photo after placing the order
If you notice a mistake or want to change the photo shortly after ordering, contact us as soon as possible. Once the book enters printing we are no longer able to modify the artwork.
Ordering and shipping
How long does it take to receive my book
Personalisation and printing usually take around three to five business days. Delivery time then depends on your location and chosen shipping method. At checkout you will see an estimated delivery window before you pay.
Which countries do you ship to
We currently ship to a selection of countries. During checkout you can enter your address and see if delivery is available. If your country is not yet listed, you can still order the digital copy.
What happens if my book arrives damaged
If your book arrives damaged or with a printing issue, please email us with photos of the problem and your order number. We will review the case and arrange a replacement whenever the damage is related to printing or shipping.
Digital copy
Do I get a digital version of the book
Yes. Every printed book includes a complimentary digital copy. You can read it on a tablet, phone or computer, or keep it as a backup for travel.
How do I access the digital copy
After your order is processed you receive an email with a link to download your digital book file. Keep this email safe so you can access the book again later if needed.
Privacy and data
How do you handle my child's photo
We only use your photo to create the illustration and generate your personalised book. Photos are stored securely and kept for a limited time in line with our privacy policy. We never sell or share your images with third parties for marketing.
Can I ask you to delete my data
Yes. If you would like us to delete your child's photo or any personal information related to your order, you can contact us and we will process the request in line with local privacy regulations.
